Mission Viejo North is bounded on the west by Los Alisos Blvd, on the north by the Foothill Corridor, on the east by Alicia Pkwy and on the south by the San Diego 5 Freeway. Lake Mission Viejo is located in this area.

The many shopping centers and retail centers in Mission Viejo North include the Alicia Towne Plaza, the shops along Via Fabricante, Target, Market on the Lake Shopping Center and Portola Plaza. There are many commercial and industrial businesses along Madero and in the High Park area at Alicia and Jeronimo. For groceries, you have your choice of Sprout’s Farmers Market, the Mission Ranch Market on Los Alisos, Ralphs on Santa Margarita Pkwy and Target. The commercial shops and businesses along Via Fabricante include several Auto Repair shops, but SoCal Skate Shop and The Cupcake Store can be found there, too.
There are numerous fast food and convenient places to eat as well as casual dining establishments like Peppinos on the Lake, the Claim Jumper, High Park Tap House, Mulleady’s Sports Pub and Grill and Hacienda Cantina on the Lake.

The neighborhood parks of North Mission Viejo include Sycamore Park, Seville Park, Wilderness Glen Park, the Barano Walk Trail, Crucero Park, Mission Viejo Youth Athletic Park, Applegate Park, Vista del Lago Park, Pinecrest Park, the Fidel Trail, Melinda Park, Florence Joyner Olympiad Park, Colinas Park Open Space, William S.
