Mission Viejo Central begins near La Paz Road and the Freeway, pretty much where the first homes were built in Mission Viejo, all the way up to Olympiad and Stoneridge. The parks here include the Oso Viejo Community Park, Christopher Park, Aurora Park and Pavion Park.

Oso Viejo Community Park
Oso Viejo Community Park is a large centrally located park off La Paz Road adjacent to the Norman P. Murray Center (go to the In Focus page for pix of the Norman P. Murray Center). It is a trail head to the Oso Creek Trail. This park is like a learning center with murals, mosaics, water features and more. Play bocce ball and have a little workout on the provided equipment! Large playing fields and plenty of seating areas for enjoying the park’s beauty. Homes near this park include the New Castille Homes, Madrid Homes, homes in Pacific Hills and Briarwood.
Wonderful open park that includes playground with interactive features, large playing field, picnic benches and access to Jeronimo Open Space and Oso Creek Trail. Adjacent to Philip J. Reilly Elementary School. Homes nearby include Casta del Sol, homes in Stoneridge, New Castille Homes and Cordova Vista.
