Some of the shopping centers and retail centers in Mission Viejo Central include Target off Alicia, Vista Paint Plaza, Gateway Shopping Center, Olympiad Plaza, Mission Viejo Garden Plaza and the La Paz Center. For groceries, there is an Albertsons at Alicia and Olympiad and The Butcher’s Block in the Gateway Shopping Center. There is a Smart and Final Extra at the corner of Alicia and Trabuco. The shops and businesses off El Paseo include Arizona Tile, Bed Bath and Beyond, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Cost Plus World Market, Sports Authority and a couple of automotive repair shops.
There are numerous fast food and convenient places to eat like Royal Donuts and Burgers, El Pollo Loco and McDonald’s, as well as casual dining establishments such as Antonucci’s, Lakeside Chinese Cuisine, TK Burgers, Sabatino’s, Bagels and Brew and Diho Siam.

The neighborhood parks and rec centers of Central Mission Viejo include Castille Park, Aurora Park, Pavion Park, Jeronimo Open Space Park, Oso Viejo Community Park, Preciados Park, El Dorado Park, Oso Creek Trail and the Mission Viejo Family YMCA.
